Default Need help Identifying a ribbon

My sister-in-law has all of my father-in-law's ribbons and medals he kept from WW2. He has been gone for 25 years now, so he isn't around to ask and his records were among those lost in the fire at the National Personnel Center.

Anyway, among his ribbons is one that has Blue borders, equal width white, equal width red and thin yellow in the middle. Sorry, I tried to attach a picture and the file was too large. I cannot find what it is. He served in the Pacific with the Army. He was Infantry.

Thanks in advance!

SwampFox, my Grandfather had the same ribbon. Mine was the post that they mentioned. I'd like to know more about your Father-in-Law... perhaps he and my grandfather served together.
