Can anyone help me on my fact finding mission?
I have an original photo from a deceased U.S. Navy Sailor's album that I need help to identify the individuals in. The first is of (I'm almost positive) Joseph Stalin with 2 other Soviet Officers. The faces and uniforms of the officers are fairly clear and the photo was taken at close proximity of all 3 men. I have searched hundreds of web sites looking for badges, collar devices and pins that match what these 2 officers are wearing on their uniforms. I can't match any of them! I've asked for help at many Russian war memorabilia sites and no one can help me. I'm hoping if I can match the pins, I can learn the rank and position of these men and find out who they are (were). It's even possible someone might recognize their faces.
I feel the history is important. My email is
2jonimiller@gmail.com. If any of you want to see the photo, I can email it to you since I'm not sure if the attachment as posted properly here. It doesn't show up when I preview.
Can anyone help?
