Default Looking for anyone who may have known my mother

It's a long shot but here goes. Some 10 years ago I found out that I had been adopted. Over the years I discovered that she had emigrated to Australia in the 1960's and that I had a half brother still living in the UK. I met him and he has told me that our mother worked in munitions at the Guisley, Yorkshire factory. It seems that she must have had me adopted in that area as her home was, at that time, in Doncaster. She died just before I was able to contact her and I had no information from my adoptive parents who never told me that I was adopted. My half brother didn't know that I existed until I contacted him.
So if there is anyone out there who worked or who knew anyone who worked at Guisley I would love to hear from them.
My mothers name was Dorothy (Dot) Appleby and she would have been about 21 years old at the time.
As I said, it's a long shot but there may just be someone out there,
many thanks for reading this,
Doreen Marsh.
