EZ 42 gun sight

Found a mention on this gun sight that Captain Karl Baur ( The main Messerschmitt test pilot ) was not very keen on this invention, as the use would require a lot of practice and big changes in the air battle tactics.

Anyone got more info on this gun sight and what Baur actually meant?
