Default Women during the 1940's and their Rights

I am a college student in Colorado and i have a research paper in my American History class. I am looking for an interview with a woman during this time to talk about Women and their Rights during the 1940's. This includes them being involved in the war effort and their movement for equality. If anyone could help me out with this it would be greatly appricated and i will post questions after i know that there is someone on here that will be able to assist me. Thank you

Hi Ross

I can't help you very much. My aunt Eileen Yuchno (O'Connor) was enlisted in the Canadian Army during the war. She had nothing bad to say, other than the fact she never got posted overseas. She died a year ago at age 90, so she is no help in your research.

Her daughter (my cousin Mary) might have something to add if you want to drop me a line. I know my own mother had a great time, living on Toronto Island during the war and meeting the dashing veteran who became my father.
