It is VERY likely that I will be moving to Chicago this month. I won't be there in time for the show, but my future may very well lie in Chicago!

PzGren,
I took a look at your profile. Your picture isn't coming up because you have the wrong link in there, replace the current one with this:
http://members.aol.com/pzrgrenadiere...e/mvc-005s.jpg
and it *should* work.
Also, thanks a lot for the link to the WW2 Network site, but you have linked to:
www.ww2.com
the correct site is:
www.ww2n.com
I though youd like to know.
BTW, Do you want an avatar made out of your image? I'm sure Peppy could work something out.

Otto,
You'd make a great addition to the Windy City. Thanks for the info on my profile. Also I'd love to have my image made into an avator. Also I'll keep you updated on upcoming reenactments in the chicago area.

Thanks for my first official welcome. I just got word, I am moving to Chicago for sure. I'll be living right down town, near the 'loop'.
I'd love to come to some of your events, we can discuss this a little more in the future once I have actually moved. Is there anyone else from the Chicago area on the Forums?
BTW, I'll get Peppy to make your avatar this weekend.

Langmann lives in the area and I guess you could say Modus lives in the area too, but very far out. I live about half an hour out of the city.

I live in the NW suburbs of Chicago. If you're ever interested in coming out to either see a reenactment or be in one, let me know. I'm sure I can get in you in either with the allies or with our unit (axis).
If you have any questions or need help with anything in the area, let me know. I'd be glad to help.

That's great to hear! I'm not sure so about participating yet, but I'd sure love to watch and take photos. The impressions in your unit seem to be very good, I'm impressed! (Honestly, no pun intended!)

As far as Living History goes, I know this sounds odd, but I have always been thought that if I were to participate, I would probably be a Volksturm. That way I could realistically participate throughout my life, although the FallschirmJager are much more 'glamorous' to me.
panzergrenadiere, take a look at the Avatars, (damn Peppy works quick!)
