How's that work 5-0, finding out about reinactments and getting involved and organizing a outpost or tactical; just curious about the whole thing.

April 2004-Western Front Tactical at Rennsellaer, Indiana. No specifics on scenerio, units to be portrayed, etc yet, BUT for now apparently the idea is Operation Varsity.

Oops. There is also one this coming weekend, January 16-18 at Neoga, Illinois. US impression is 35th ID. Not sure of the German impression. This is an invite only event.

Hello there!
We were planning on having the Rensselaer event the weekend of the 16th - 18th of April. However, it seems that this date will conflict with another event in Ft. Custer, Michiagan. More than likely we will be holding the Rensselaer event the first weekend of April. Right now, we're thinking Operation Varsity as Willaim said, but we are still in the very early formiative planning stages.
One of the things that we will be doing for sure is the addition of pyrotechnics during the battle. This hasn't been done at a tactical to my knowledge, so it sure will be something not to miss.

Planning on it. If #'s and all work out, and it goes over with some of the planning folk, we'll be Volkssturm. If not, we'll be there as GI.

I'm tempted to get my panzershreck ready for the event. Which reminds me, I need to get info on the backpack carrying case for the rounds. Rather do it right or not at all.
