My grandfather, who served on the USS Coral Sea in WWII, gave me some very interesting Japanese propoganda forms that were dropped on the deck of the carrier by a single Japanese pilot in a captured hellcat (Interesting story to itself, to bad he's not around to tell it, I pale in comparison to his storytelling skills)

The flyers, in English, and good English to be sure read the following:

Americans,

Your time in this area is short, we have many, many ships and aircraft approaching you now, we will leave no prisoners if you attempt to battle us. It is advised that you sink your shrip (**only spelling error**) and we will rescue you. You will be treated with honor.

Anyways, anybody know who this guy was? Or can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks
in advance for your help in this matter!

Yes, I tried google, yahoo, and various search engines, nothing at all.

Could just be a PR man so to speak, but I was hoping someone just may have some info. On my home computer I have pics of the Flyers, I am going to post them, possible this may help.

Thanks Kai
