Hello,

I am new here and would like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Lynaugh and I am a photographer that spent 4 years covering the political scene in DC. Anyways, when I lived in VA I fell in love with studying the Civil War and started a website devoted to it. I have photographed a bunch of re-enactments, but this weekend I found out about a WWII re-enactment here in Upstate NY and went. It POURED all day, but they went ahead and fought both battles (Battle of Dieppe & Landing on Utah Beach), and I thought you guys would enjoy seeing my photos from the event. Feel free to give me any feedback you like, since this was my first WWII re-enactment, I am curious what you guys think.

Thanks, and I look forward to your comments.

Mike

Thank you Kai-Petri,

I had a great time. The weather was miserable, but I had fun, and I think it helped make for better images. I'm glad you enjoyed them, and I would love to attend more WWII re-enactments, this was my first of, I hope, many!

Thank you guys, I had such a great time at the re-enactment, heck, I even loved the rain! It just added to the gritty feel of everything, it was great!
