greyhem is an unknown quantity at this point
hey guys, i'm new to the forums, but i've been interested in WWII for some time now. Well, i'm getting into airsoft (got a tokyo marui thompson for x-mas ) and i want to portray a 2nd ranger, like saving private ryan. anyways, i've heard several people say that some rangers did wear corcoran paratrooper boots instead of the type 2 service boot with the m1938 leggings. is this true? others have said that regular leg GI's got a beatin' by paratroopers if caught wearin' the boots. well, i hope u guys can help me out, and if not thanks anyways for ur time.
laters,
j0ey

Not an expert on this however I do believe that the rangers got Corcorans but I'm not sure how common they were. As for your second comment, well it makes sense but remember rangers weren't 'leg' gi's, they were if anything better trained than paratroopers.
