Excellent set of then and now pictures, this is my kind of thing. I particularly like the first set showing the GIs climbing the hill, it's a perfect comparisson.

Do you have anymore?

Yes I have some more of Kesternich, I will post it asap.
I just started making these photos. Maybe next week some more of Schevenhütte.

nice pics again 272VGD! it always amazes me how little has changed over these many years! that first pic still ahs the bars on the window, then there is the steel cable holder in the i think third pic, looks exactly the same!

This is a pair of Dutch resistance crystal radios, built into a small metal can, and a matchbox. The image is from a postcard bought at a Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. The matchbox is marked in Swedish, but Swedish matches were sold in Holland for many years.
