Hi,
i'm djon my home is near the german border(aachen)(hurtgenforest) have hurtgen battle maps for sale from militär archief freiburg and EOD Netherlands all from de bloody forest.

I am really amazed whe I see all these excellent finds. I didn't even know orange Juice powder existed in 1944/45. The fork is nice too. It was taken at a Hotel , note sure but it reads ROHR or something similar.

You'd be amazed if you knew how many of those packeges we've found, also for coffee etc.
They are spread through out the Forest.
By the way the name on the fork is hotel Flohr.
In total i found 4 forks in the pit, all civil!

The damage on the barn is from the fighting in the Hurtgen Forest, this barn is at the edge of the forest and so a good parkingspot.
