Re: Amersfoort (Holland) dugups.
Hi Dutchy. Some wonderful helmets there! I like the 1944 model Luftwaffe with the intact leather a lot. Some pretty scarce FallschimJäger too. 46! Man you are lucky. I wish I had just one or two!

Re: Amersfoort (Holland) dugups.
Hi mate!
Thank you skipper!, the helmet on the left, beneath on the photo of 4 FJ is not a ground dug b.t.w.
272VGD and I are one of the lucky few to have had this chance! It was an exiting, tencious, jealous and competitive experience!
272GVD has a nice dutch relic site www.bodem-vondsten.nl, checked already?

Re: Amersfoort (Holland) dugups.
Yes He told me about it and sometimes puts links on the forum. It's a great site, it makes me envious, but that's the game . I'm into aircraft parts. I found a great Lancaster spar last week

Re: Amersfoort (Holland) dugups.
It's a game yes! But sometimes it can end up in a small forum fight, what happened to me and 272VGD. It been a while ago and I have certain regrets for it though...ah..we were young
But anyway, 17 bombers/fighters crashed in my 12km wide neighbourhood, 1 only 100 meters of my home. I havent had even 1 look at the crashes but soon I will, Ill keep you up to date of my finds!
cheers

You keep amazing me with all these finds. Besides the truck you must live in a huge warehouse to keep all these .

Last item is a German liner for in a helmet... do you know what I mean? Don't know the exact word for it in English.
Our car was pretty full yes!
