Some nice material there. I see that according to some plates some people came from the Metz area. Thanks for giving us the link !

I do like the Dodge, they look really mean.
Not as mean a sa White Scout Car though.
Are some of those "Jeeps" ex-French Army Hotchkiss ?

This is a pair of Dutch resistance crystal radios, built into a small metal can, and a matchbox. The image is from a postcard bought at a Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. The matchbox is marked in Swedish, but Swedish matches were sold in Holland for many years..

here is more - btw. the wrecker is a "Diamond T" built 1943 - Thierry the owner has 2 of them ... - both in running condition ...
"Lineup" just before inauguration of the new location
reading of the greetings from current commander of 95 inf. division in both english and french
"Lineup" at the monument where a reconnaisance patrol was ambushed by Wehrmacht in WW2

almost 75% of the jeeps shown are socalld M201 Hotchkiss built under license of Willys - so called "WOF" (Willys of France) ...

the club is located in France - so most are french with just a few exceptions: iīm german and some guests from Belgium and Switzerland also where there ...

only US for the other clubmembers!
i own a chinese BMW repop - see pics - due to the fact that i currently work in china and be in europe only seldom i donīt have the opportunity to meet my pals pretty often ...
and due to the fact that i do not feel comfy without a "old" ride i bought the repop BMW ...
see other pics for my Jeep which is waiting in my garage in germany for me ...
first Jeep in the line is mine (actually is a ex french army jeep)

I really enjoy watching this thread. Too bad you are so far away, but you must be enjoying free riding with your BMW repro. It's a nice bike, I didn't know the Chinese made those.

right after WW2 the russinas took BMW drawings and produced such bikes more or less "under license2 - see bikes named "URAL" or "DNEPR" - lateron the chinese also got those drawings and since then they also produce these bikes ...
is a fun to ride - 32 hp (think the WW2 ones had around 24 or so) with sidecar is quiet funny ...
