Re: Martin Bulls first landing attempt
I have never been to see that Mossie memorial at Bradwell Bay !
I've always thought it looks a little odd in photos......

Re: Martin Bulls first landing attempt
A nice landing.
Did it actually land like that or is it just a set up memorial?

Re: Martin Bulls first landing attempt
It's a memorial. The 'Mossie' is a scale model made from, I believe, either stone or concrete......

Bradwell what? I say to myself...
Some links.
RAF Bradwell Bay Airfield
Essex - RAF Bradwell Bay
Nice inscription on the memorial, and I see "Control Tower now a house" on that second link... nice.
Cheers,
Adam.

Re: Martin Bulls first landing attempt
Blimey I didnt realise they paint it in different colour schemes as in your pics Von Poop.
Now I know your not being serious, its surely a gate guard thingy, or else maybe Martin can tell us different. It doesnt look like a full size mosi, but what do I know, its one of those quaint aeoplaney things that I dont really doooo. Although I have a lot of time for oldish Buccaneer of more recent days, now there was an aircraft.
