Default Charlotte Museum of History WWII Event! June 7th 2008

Posting this for the "good of the cause"

Greetings:

I am hoping to recruit reenactors to our WWII event
Sat., June 7th. I have posted files that include, flyers
and releases if you would like to participate. Please
contact me - Jan McCormick, via email or call me at
704-568-1774 ext. 113 if you have any questions. Our
site has 8 acres, and is limited in space, so I will
accept releases, and close it off when we hit
capacity. This means the sooner you get them in the
better. I hope all those that have participated in the
past will continue to do so, and we would love to get
some new reenactors to our event as well.
I have changed the event from the
past, and hope to upgrade it next year.

I planned on keeping it simple since it was a little
over one month out when Jason left, and this being my
first WWII event, I planned on a movie night for Sat., but
I have received emails regarding the dance that was
held two years ago, and a request that we bring it
back.

I have moved the Remembrance Ceremony to conclude the
end of the event on Sat. I understand that it is not
well attended on Sunday, and many people visiting the
site on Sunday are confused, and think events will
continue on into Sun. This will ensure we have a good
audience, it will conclude the program, and you guys
can relax and have fun Sat. night. Sunday, feel free
to hang out or pack up anytime you want.

I look forward to meeting all of you, and working with
you in the future.

Sincerely,

Jan McCormick
