Newspaper Clippings saved by my Grandmother so she could follow where my Dad was in the War. (Since they were on the Front lines nobody could let them know exactly where they were located). Dad was in "The Lost Battalion" of Old Hickory in Mortain the 120th Infantry 30th Division. They lost half the platoon at Mortain. They were bombed by our own planes.
