I'm a die hard garage saler, and yesterday the stars were aligned in my favor. Nothing like walking into the garage of an elderly women (70-80yrs old) and have a nice M35 with SS runes staring you in the face with a $20 price tag on it. It's condition is one of the best I've ever seen, and yes...her husband brought it back in 45.

Congratulations. I always enjoy hearing of great finds like this.

Not German in origin, but a dear friend of mine collects German WW II Kreigsmarine, and Gebirgsjaeger memorabilia, as well as U.S. WW II Airborne.

While at a garage sale, he located an original U.S. airborne jump jacket ( smock? ) with an original 82nd Airborne shoulder patch still attatched. Asking price was $5! He bought it, took it to a show, and another airborne collector offered him $500, so he took it. Now that's what I would consider a desirable profit.

Wish I could run in to some similar situation with Luftwaffe material stacked to the rafters!
