If you're in London's West End, this place is worth a visit ( not the cheapest, though ! ) :

Helmut Weitze. I know Carl isn't too happy with them right now, but I have had good experiences with them. I do think, as it is well known, it should be in this list.

Hi Stevin--weitze doesn't get my vote because I have been shafted by them as well as a few of my friends--so i'll not badmouth them but--will not send business their way. His problem is that he KNOWINGLY sells fake as real
All I can say when dealing with them in particular as well as jamie cross-- Let the buyer beware.

I've had only good experiances in dealing with Peter and he is honest about his wares.

Well here is another one: Paul Jarvis has a site named relics of the reich:
http://www.relicsofthereich.com/
I haven'tbought there but heard good things about it. Items are nice and prices seems fair.

I've heard of them but never have seen their site. I don't know anything much about them but--a few things were priced fairly I thought--but is a bit expensive.

Are we getting the "buying bug" again?
What are ya thinking of buying? I've seen a few more KM items for sale as singles.

Destroyer badge is a good KM badge. They aren't super expensive and are easy to get.
Price ranges on them from about $115.00 to about $250.00 depending on condition. With award document--add about $80.00 or so. Mine is mint with the maker of F.O. for Friedrich Orth--which is one of my favorites as well as W.H. and Assmann & Sohn. I also like Schwerin of Berlin and I like all these makers much more better than the more popular C.E.Juncker badges.
F.O and W.H. I think both are firms in Vienna. I know F.O. is in Vienna.

Peter has one for sale on his site that is a grouping of Destroyer badge and destroyer badge award document for $400.00--I thought htis was the one you were talking about buying and went for a look-see in Peters site and I only found one Destroyer Badge for sale--so I naturally assumed you were wanting this one. It's a VERY good one--and getting a harder to get award doc with it is a plus. If I had the $400.00 clams to shell out for it--I'd do so in a heartbeat.
I hear ya--I hear ya--I just had to shell out $130... something clams today for two new tires. There goes my computer money
