Greetings all -

I would like to take this opportunity to personally welcome Joerg to the forum. Joerg is a valuable asset to our forum, as he has a vast wealth of knowledge concerning the military history of Germany over various periods of time.

Joerg has a personal interest in Iron Crosses, and I have been priveledged to have been able to see some of his photographs of his collection previous to his joining the forum.

Once we are able to post pics directly, I am sure that Joerg will be willing to share some of these photographs with the forum at large that only being if he can not use url's directly now.

Welcome to the forum my dear friend. I am glad that you have located your way here. The forum membership has added value to it for your having registered here.

I had some busy days, so I was not able to reply earlier. I´m really proud of this nice welcome - thank you very much!

I would like to thank my good friend Bill, who showed me the way to his forum.

Hello Joerg -

Glad to see that things are slowing up a bit to allow you to find the time to place your first posting.

I think you'll find this forum informative, and entertaining as well. A bit different from the other that we are used to, but, still a great place to spend a few minutes of your day.

We are working on attempts to get the direct posting of pictures up and running, and once this is complete, I know that you will be wanting to share some of your very fine German Iron Cross photographs. There are many members here who are very much interested in the learning process, and many of our members who are just starting out on the road to forming a collection can learn a lot from you in this area.

If you can post url's here, please, feel free to do so. Unfortunately, I can not, so my son tells me, so I am currently dependent on others to assist me in this area, but they are willing to do so, and I must say, I am MOST grateful for this.

Welcome Joerg! Good to have another collector at this forum. Before it's possible to post pictures directly I can post some for you if you send me the pics by mail. Please keep the pictures small (50 Kb each).

Direct posting of pictures in about a month? Now THAT is great news!!!!!!

This tid bit of news just made my entire day, week, maybe even month. Now we're rolling! I'd best invest in an AA battery company ( No not anti-aircraft, but as in camera batteries! )
