i, I know this is not militaria but I would like an opinion. I have a 1928 US penny, a few bicentnnial half dollars,a bicenennial quarter, a South African coin oif unknown value(it has a 1/4 fraction on the bottom maybe it's a quarter) from 1953. My lowest asking price is $10 USD but the highest I'll accept is 250 USD or best offer. Thanks for your opinion.

Your 1928 penny is worth about 5 cents. (I have a few of these myself)

The bicentennial quarters are worth face value (I still have several of these)

As for the half-dollar--I don't know value on those but---they are basically only worht face value--unless these are made with Silver which I don't think so as I think they quit mixing Silver in them in 1974? (I have several of these as well and usually have one in my wallet along with a quarter, nickel, and dime and a Dollar coin.

It's for my private joke that i'll never be totally broke if I run out of money. I'll always have at least $1.90 in my wallet.

I know zilch about invasion money but--as a curio--it would sell for a few $$$ each. I have I think 1-2 ww2 german occupation Marks. Nothing special--just colored blue and red pieces of paper with some artwork on them. I don't know where I stashed them but--if i can find them--providing I still have them--i'll let you have them. These I got I think for maybe $5 total or each--I can't remember what I paid.

KM--Heh heh--that's true--I can't be busted for vagrancy for sure.

Now days--thankfully, there is a bit more than $1.90 in my wallet.

By the way, I wonder hom much 2 pounds and 6 shillings are worth in US Dollars today. in ww2--that was equel to about $10.00.

Hi DB--German occupied currency looks like what you have posted above except that it does'nt say Lire on them--simple just: Marks.
