My Dad and Greg and his sons went to a mans house to see a collection. Well really there were several collections we saw that weekend. Here is me in the hallway to one of the collections. This man had a whole room full of stuff. I'll show some of the pictures now if I can remember how I did it.

Here are some WWII German awards most to one man.
There is a Knights Cross with swords and oakleaves which is a very very very rare medal to get. Greg and my Dad and that man looked at everything with a jewelers eye thing and they measured and they weighed and they . . said "oooo and ahhhhh." ALOT
The medals in the cases at the top are wound badges bronz, silver, and gold all cased all from the Spanish Civil War where the Germans fought against communism in Spain.
I hope you like our friends collection so far.
Erik

I hope you like the collection from our friend so far!

Hello Mr. Erich,
Yea, its the Heer or Army one not the Luftwaffe Air Force type. Here is a close up the Spanish Cross in Gold with Diamonds.

The man has the complete documents of thw winner of this award with photos of him flying and his funeral pictures, too. It's all very fragile and we could only look at the case...but we could touch the medal. It was sorta heavy.

The andale web site where I transfer pictures from is doing maintence now. I have to wait till 8:00am Pacific time which is two hours more for me. Then I'll have to mow the lawn.
I'll have to post my pictures later, but it ain't my fault.
