Hi guys,
It's been a long time that I posted here. In the meantime I collected some new things. Among them is a nice Kuban shield with a raised swaz. I got it at Weitze's store (sorry Carl ). I hope you like the pictures. It's the best shield I have.

And that shield looks nice to me ( not that I'm an expert about such things )

Hi Martin,
I hope I can visit more often. The shield leads to some discussion among experts but I like it very much.

Hi my frined, no problem about length of time--just so that you have come for a visit. Also, congrats, great Kuban Shield. I only have three shields myself, Silver Narvik, Gold Narvik and a Krim.

Hi Carl, the Narvik shield is the only shield I am going to buy in the future. Last november I bought one but send it back to the dealer because I didn't like the backside. Right now I have a Kuban, a Demjansk and two Krim. One of the Krim is a battlefield relic and is severely damaged.

Hi Volkbert, good going on your growing collection. I'd also like to colleect a few more shields but will be concentrating more on completing my Arty Majors uniform this year.

Hi Stevin!! All well here. Folkert is growing fast and is a healthy boy. Barbara is also doing very well. How about your singing wife?
I visit Huizen almost every time however is not every month. When you have time contact me and we can meet there.
The shield is great however at the wehrmacht-awards there is an enormous discussion about it. People even get a little pissed.

Chris is in Antwerp now till April I only see her two days a week. Does give me time to visit museums and cemeteries. A bit morbid, but hey...a guy has to have a hobby...
Glad to hear all is well with you! I will definately drop you a line sometime soon so we can (finally!) meet up in Huizen.
Fun that your shield yields so much interest and that people are getting heated about it! I still think it looks very good! I have no idea whether it is original or not, but I think it is a well designed shield.
