Does anyone know about early or pre-war American boots (probably officer's.) These are brown, about knee high but there are laces along the front which strikes me as unusual.

Hi Anthony, nothing unusual about American officers having knee-high brown boots. Do these have and date stamps or other markings? No I am no expert on American stuff but, it's not unusual for an officer to have boots as you described.
