Default German Helmet WWII

* Hi all I’m new here jejej

I’m searching a little bit of help with this helmet

It appears to be a Civic Curved Dip helmet I really don’t know too much of these so if someone of you can say something it will be great jejej I don’t even know if it’s real or is a fake one.

Bye

First of all, welcome to the forum.

The helmet shell is the civic variation and I doubt that it is a fake. However it may be post war as this design was produced up until the early 70s.

Are there any stamps or markings inside the shell?

There is nothing inside the shell, and for that reason I thought that was fake…

Maybe is that, it could be postwar... a shame :P

Thanks for the answer

I've never come across a fake civic shell-but that doesn't mean that they don't exist!

What I find unusual, is the absence of any markings, even post war shells have a batch number stamped in to the metal.

It's a fake i think. After the war germany still had many helmets. they used the helmets for the fireman. you can see that by the little round of holes on the helmet.

Welcome to the forum, thompson.

May I ask what makes you think the helmet is a fake?

I did'nt mean he is fake but he isn't used by wehrmacht soldiers or others only by fireman in germany after ww2 (the little holes)
