Carl Evans recently asked about online memorials in another thread. I've decided to post the sites where the US, UK and Canada post news releases regarding their casualties from ongoing operations. This list is by no means comprehensive, so if anyone knows of the sites used by other nations with troops in Iraq or Afghanistan, please add them here.
There are several sites listed for the US because the US Department of Defense posts its information on a number of sites, with differing degrees of detail. Also, while the Combined Joint Task Force Seven is largely American, it is also multi-national in that it contains information for casualties in Iraq for all Coalition forces.
Multi-National
Combined Joint Task Force Seven: News Releases
United Kingdom
Ministry of Defence: Operation Telic - Details of British Casualties
Canada
Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces: News Room
The Netherlands
Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands: Latest news of the Ministry of Defence
United States
Department of Defense: Defend America - Fallen Warriors
Department of Defense: News Releases
United States Central Command: Casualty Reports
Department of Defense: Defend America - Remembering Those Who Perished at the Pentagon

There is an English language page were this kind of information/news will be publishized for Dutch Casualties during ongoing missions.
So far no casualties.
Also on this site regular updates about the Dutch AF Salvage and Recovery team and their operations.
Thanks for this thread, Crapgame!

You're welcome Stevin. Thank you for the link to Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands website. The original post has now been edited to add this site for the Netherlands.
This is quite a fascinating site. There is the information you mentioned on the the Dutch AF Salvage and Recovery team and also some interesting information on Dutch military operations in general.
I found the news regarding Dutch forces in the Carribean particularly interesting because I was unaware of these forces. Now that I've done a bit of reading on the Netherland Antilles, I wonder if the overseas possessions of European states might make for an interesting thread ...

Crapgame,
The Dutch marines and Navy both have a permanent presence on the Dutch Antilles. The navy has several ships and Orion recce planes in the area, used against drug traffickers. All this in very close cooperation with the US Coast Guard.
The Dutch antilles are a major through-way for drugs from South America to Europe/US. The Dutch/American taskforce has been very succesfull recently in capturing drug-ships.
As far as WW2 is concerned; I know of only one incident when a sole German U boote shelled(!) the Shell oil refinery on Curacau.
