Hiya,
This might only have a limited appeal, but it's worth a try.
There's a new archaeology forum- online archaeology, which I've just joined. It's VERY new, but I've tested the water and the webmaster is very keen on creating a new section on military archaeology. It won't be exclusively WW2, but if all the military archaeological know-how seen here gets things started, it could encourage others to kick in with their favourite eras.
Not trying to poach any regulars from here of course, but have a look anyway.
Regards,
Gordon

That is a nifty looking site, Gordon. The running-news-ticker-thingie on the right drives me crazy though, but I like the site! I definately will go back and explore this one more. Seems like its done by someone who knows what he is doing, both archeology-wise as web-building-wise.

That's what I though too when I found it, Stevin.
Think the master's either an archaeology student, or a computer wizz wth an interest in archaeology. Either way, it looks good!

Just a reminder about this site, for anyone interested.
Steve the moderator is looking for articles to publish on the site, so if any of you have archaeologically related research you want to share with the world, this is the very place! He's interested in inaugurating an online database of archaeological sites, and I'm doing my best to give him plenty of military stuff to get him started!
Also, if you have a dissertation from uni you want aired without having to worry about publishing costs, this is the very place.
If you are a member of a wreck recovery/battlefield excavation society, Steve's keen to run monthly profiles onsite if you give him the details. I've just given him the profile for the UK Fortifications Club, which is currently running on the homepage.
Not suggesting anyone deserts this site, but for those who are interested in the archaeological side of military history, there's a place waiting for your genius!
Look forward to reading your input!
Regards,
Gordon

Just to say that the webmaster has just mentioned adding a Military History Portal in the near future, and although the site will keep a mainly British focus, coverage of other nations' archaeology (military or otherwise)will bring some welcome depth to the site.
Regards,
Gordon
