Yup, got it on DVD. Thought it was a pile of crap.

How can it be 'historically' accurate if based on a legend?

Yes I know there is a king called Arthur in the period of Romano-Britain... But come on? If it was supposed to be late Roman in its apperance then it failed in my opinion. But then I thought the acting was wooden.

I turned it off after half an hour. Havent got bored enough to try it again!

And how can the legendary king Arthur, saviour of Britain in times of need be a samatian!?!?!

It was filmed just down the road from me... My missus' sister knows a couple of guys who were extras and they got to keep their outfits. I saw one and they are very nice, but a bit too 'Lord of The Ringsy' for my liking...

Understand your point it you want more info on it go to a forum called MedRom. One of the guys on their, Dr Mike Thomas, he is an expert on all things roman. I'm sure he has got comments on their attire. True it is a bit hollywood, but it has come a hell of a lot closer to the truth than all other films about arthur, remember the one with Sean Connery, it wasn't a bad try.
