Jan, there is in English a common phrase that goes like "Avoid like the plague". It was a word play meaning something like "better the plague than History Channel"

You're right Will, but what's annoying when they show footage is the totally careless mix from different places, times and events all mixed up. For instance I once saw a feature on the Kursk battle which included troops advancing in snow. Kursk was in July

Sometimes they do interview the right kind of people. I've seen John Fletcher, David Glantz, John Ericksson, etc, but their short appearances are smothered under floods of hogwash!

And remember I live in Portugal, you can't imagine what kind of murder translators can do!!!! "The B-17, Minesweeper of the Skies"! I swear I heard this one!
