Can anyone recommend a single-volume history of the Korean War 1950-53?

I read The Forgotten War: America in Korea 1950-53 by Clay Blair some years ago and it was a very good read--and it would want to be at over 1100 pages--and it showed Blair to be a good historian and writer. But now I am after a similar history that is more--what can I say?--recent and comprehensive than Blair's history of US involvement in the Korean War. I am well aware that the US led the UN forces in tackling the North Koreans and then the Chinese People's Volunteers and that she provided and committed by far the largest proportion of the UN's forces to the Korean War so any history of the Korean War will necessarily include the bulk of material on US forces and their South Korean allies, but I want the history to include the battles and actions of the smaller contingents, such as the British, Commonwealth, and Belgian forces etc. as well as those of the US and South Korean forces; but by the same token I want a degree of cold caution in this regard as I don't want a book that exaggerates or overstates any one contingent's involvement in the war, which may be out of all proportion to the contingent's numbers actually involved, thus making it unnecessarily lopsided or unbalanced. And I would also like some good detail on the enemy forces, North Korea and China with the support of the Soviet Union. Indeed, as much information on the Communist forces in the Korean War as can be got would be excellent. So comprehensive is the operative word. I realise I am asking a great deal, sort of the ideal history of the Korean War in one book, but any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.
