Default 103rd Infantry WWII New Georgia

I am looking for any and all information, pics, or personal accounts from vets or those researching vets who served in that unit (103rd infantry) during the battle for New Georgia. My father-in-law served there his name was Jerome B. Goldstein.

thanks

Are you referring to the 103rd Infantry Regiment of the 43rd Infantry Division?

The 103rd Infantry Division served in the ETO.

Jeff, Thanks for checking out my post,

I am looking for 103rd Infantry Regiment of the 43rd Infantry Division (Winged Victory) that was in the Pacific Theater. My father-in-law served in the 103rd Infantry, Company G during Operation Cartwheel, he was wounded 14 August, 1943 on New Georgia. I have done quite a few general searches on the 103rd, but I would like to get more information about Company G's movements during the battle and possibly even individual accounts. I don't know if its possible to get to that level, but, any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks again,
Mike
