Question need help with research.

I'm doing reasearch on my grandfather. Does anyone have any info on the 356th AAA searchlight bn. or on the 452nd amphibious truck co. Durning WWII?

any info will be gratefully appreciated.

During the period October 1942 to January 1947 my wartime "Cook's Tour" took me to the following places:
North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Austria, Egypt & Germany.
My units were the: 49th Light Ack Ack Rgt.RA and
The 4th Queen's Own Hussars.

Jasen,

You're probably going to hard pressed to find much about these two small, non-divisional formations.

As far as the 356th is concerned, all I can find is dates and location when it was formed and disbanded and four movement dates, from the US to Guadalcanal to the Philipines and back to the US.

I've not been able to find any mention of the 452nd Amphibious Truck Co.

Thanks for trying to find info for me. The only reason I'm trying so hard to find info on those units is because I'm trying to do reasearch on my deceased grandfather. The only paper work I have on him has thoseunits listed.
