Default Need help

I don't know how long he served, but my grandpa told me he was a ground crew member with the AVG. I was seeing how to look up records of this or anything I could find out about him. His name is Louie Baima. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I found his serivce number online. It's 37734955

His code number was 5? 5Philippine Scouts (Officers and Enlisted Men)

NO#No branch assignment

This was taken from NARA - AAD - Display Full Records - Electronic Army Serial Number Merged File, ca. 1938 - 1946 (Enlistment Records)

But I can't find any details on where he was assigned or to what group. Any ideas?

Well, here is a quick link on The Mars force

You Said he was part of the AVG.
Perhaps you can try the website for the AVG. Maybe someone will remember him.
Since you have his service Number you should be able to get a copy of his records by maling in the form found here
