Exclamation Found: Honorably Discharge Papers

I have found a complete set of honorably discharge papers from WWII
with the certificate of eligibility for the veterans administration.
The man's name was Frederick "S" Fish who served in the Navy
He was Dicharged in Jan. 1946 in Lido Beach, L.I, N.Y.
The papers were recorded at the county clerks office in N.Y.
I live in Indiana and how the ended up here I'll never know but maybe just maybe someone on this site can help me find the family of this man.
I'm sure they would want the originals as he was Honorably dicharged
My gradfathers papers are in a frame on my wall. I am so proud he served.
As I'm sure this family is. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Without having the papers in front of me, I think that the hometown of the person should be listed on there somewhere. You could search an online phonebook in his hometown to see if there is any family still there.
