hey all, me and a friend of mine want to build a WW2 style submarine, but we dont have any good ideas on how to make it, or any type of plans....could anybody help us out?

I don't know what scale you were thinking of or your budget, but I have always thought a big long butane tank would make a good take off point to build a submarine, perhaps one like the Japanese used that had one or two crew. You could add a lawnmower engine and a prop and a periscope would be easy to make out of PVC pipe.
Put it all in the back of a pick up truck and go to the lake and have fun. (or perhaps drown  )
