Kerem, you can also use pastel chalk by sanding it into powder and mixing in a few drops of water. You should have an art supply somewhere nearby. Or maybe getting some fine dust mixed with water.
I'm working on some palm trees for a dio now. I think I'll have it sunk down into the sand.

Re: Cuddles, the friendly jap killing tank.
Thanks Sarge. Feel free to use the photos however you wish. I’m using Photoshop on a G5, creating a multilayer PSD and editing to enhance. I’m in the graphic-arts field.
I might edit the blast from a 90-mm antiaircraft gun to the tip of the barrel on the Cuddles tank. We’ll see. Rather busy right now.
Interesting about using pastel chalk for graphic enhancement. Do you adhere it to the surface some how or does it just dry on?

Re: Cuddles, the friendly jap killing tank.
I found this Tamiya pen on a Turkish web site, it says mud effect pen, does anyone know if it is any good?

Re: Cuddles, the friendly jap killing tank.
Kerem, I use those pens occasionally. They are really good. I usually wet a brush with water and drag it across the tip and dab it on. They also have some that are packaged like a cosmetic case which I use more frequently. They can also be diluted with water. A good trick to use is using a stiff paintbrush and flicking the bristles with your finger to make mud splatters.
