My baby KM Bismarck
Hey guys just thought I would show off my little baby, the KM Bismarck.
I have been working on her on and off for about 4 years now. She has been broken at the masts countless times, the most recent by an idiot frien who was playing around after I said don't touch you'll break it, he said (as they do) no i won't I'm just looking, next thing you know SNAP
Not very happy and it was both the forward and rear masts too.
Oh and just remember I am a terrible camera man so go easy on me
and this one
and one more

Re: My baby KM Bismarck
How does your friend manage to break off both of the masts, damnit.
Nice lil´ boat you have there!
As for the pics, id suggest more light, or use the flash on the camera. Does you camera have a "macro"-option? Though with a model that big, i dont think youd need to use it...

Re: My baby KM Bismarck
Hey this an't no silly boat its a mighty war ship
as I said because he is an idiot , no it dosn;t have a macro option. The phot's were taken at night with house lights over to one corner so that might be the problem?

Re: My baby KM Bismarck
Yeah, good lighting makes all the difference.
IMO, natural light is much better then artificial light from lamps.

Re: My baby KM Bismarck
Really good model!
I recently built a 1/350th USS The Sullivans and am now working on the USS Iowa in the same scale.
I would suggest more light, like the others, but other than that, well done!!

Re: My baby KM Bismarck
Nice job done on a now "Battle-Damaged" model. The 2nd model I ever built was a Bismarck model-probably the same size as your is. However, mine met an ending much alike that of the "original" Bismarck did - only mine was death by BB-gun & Black Cat Firecrackers. ;-))

Re: My baby KM Bismarck
I always wanted to build a B-17 withall four props spinning b four motors, and attached to a small amout of fuel in wings, than get on the roof light up the wings, hold for a second, then throw, hopefully it will work alright.
