I visited the forum to do some research on some paperbacks. But I have been here for quite some time reading. This is really great! Thanks to those who put it together!

You couln't be able to find a better forum in terms of accumulated knowledge, general friendliness, and a pollution free environment. There are other ww2 forums with perhaps more specialised knowledge in some areas, but the atmosphere tends to be somewhat tense, so this one is a more than fine balance.

If you are of the British persuasion we have a sort of a sister forum at www!talk!com which is equally great but more slanted to the UK interests for historical reasons. There are a lot of members who belong to both places, myself included. Worth a visit as well.

In this forum I would like to recccomend you to be somewhat wary of, shall we say, smart alecs who sooner or later will attract divine vengeance. If you want a typical example you can look ar a certain post in this particular thread. But in any case be careful of confronting them too directly as SOME were made Moderators here for a reason no one can rationally fathom.

Cheers!
Za Rodinu
