Default Greetings To Everyone

I'm new and am looking forward to reading and posting here. I have recently come into a nazi war relic collection and am learning some basics about this collection. If anyone can shed any light on this subject I would really appreciate it. I have German helmets, swords, bayonets, metals, armbands ,belt buckles, and a banner flag. Also a gas mask and cannister.
I 'm in the process of trying to determine the autheniticity
of my items.
I spoke to an antique dealer today and he told me to be careful as there are many fakes out there.

Any help on this subject would be great.
Regards
HM
