Hi everyone.
I've joined the forum, not because I know alot about the war, but because of the missing gaps in family history.
One grandfather servd in the British army, was seconded to MI5 and served in North Africa - the international area.
The other grandfather served with the Royal Navy. Was on HMS Adamant, Truculent (sub) was a POW and also served with the MP.
One Gran was awren and served at the admiralty - and claims to have been one of the few British women who were issued with guns.
The other gran worked inservice in a country house frequented by Churchill.
3 of them are now dead. They all said very little. I'm just trying to fill in the gaps.
