Thank you for the welcome Jeff ,
I am a son of an ex-serviceman who has an extensive knowledge of all things WW2. I really need to improve my own school boy history so I hope you folks might be able and willing to indulge me.
I personally have an interest in the Chindits which has been born out a friends father was heavy decorated for services to Queen and Country in Burma. I also am very interested in Panzer operations.

Actually I'm not so fond of them myself. Maybe it's just because I'm a bit conservative when it comes to WWII I seem to only enjoy American militaria. Oh well that's my problem.

This is a pair of Dutch resistance crystal radios, built into a small metal can, and a matchbox. The image is from a postcard bought at a Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. The matchbox is marked in Swedish, but Swedish matches were sold in Holland for many years..
