hey
hi i just thought i should briefly introduce myself as im new to this forum, im a second year student studying archaeology and anthropology and am currently doing research for my dissertation which is about british women's lives during the second world war, but my interest in ww2 is very widespread. it was during my research dor this that i came across this forum and just wished id found it sooner, i find it difficult to find people with similar interests about ww2 at university so it is great to find a group with similar interests to takl to and share information with

Re: hey
Howdy and welcome to the forum. Interesting studies. You may find Gordon's (The Historian) postings of interest. Happy posting.

Re: hey
Welcome aboard Bam!
I look forward to sharing information with you. My Mum was a Londoner who worked for the War Dept during the war. I'm writing a book about her and my Dad, so I hope you will be willing to share some of what you are learning for your dissertation. Glad you found us - I know I've been thrilled after all these years to find people who are also interested in WWII.
