Hi,

Of course we have many volunteers at WWII (Argentina took side just weeks before the war end), but the british comunitee here was (and still is) quite important.

At the mommment, I just can give you web sites in spanish. I sugest you to use some translactor, worth it.

Firmes Volamos

Here you have an article in elglish.

The Argentine Spitfires

Here is a blog with very good infomation (spanish).

daniel eugenio pena

Formore information, there is a very good quality book called "Alas de Trueno" by Claudio Meunier.

Rumors said there is a group working on a book about the volunteers on the German Forces of WWII.

I hope it be where you look for.

Regards.

Gabriel.

Hello Gabriel. Welcome on the forum.

Here is a useful link. Argentine-British 164 Squadron <<Firmes Volamos>> [Archive] - WW2inColor Talk it's about 164 Squadron. There were also a few Argentines in Bomber Command. One of them is buried in my hometown.
