Hello
Hello everyone,
I just registered today. I've posted before at the CombinedFleet.com and J-aircraft forum message boards, both of which mainly detail with Imperial Japan's airplanes, ships, and involvement in World War II.
I'm mainly interested in the Pacific War, and have built several articles in Wikipedia about the Guadalcanal Campaign and the Battle of the Coral Sea. If linking is allowed in this forum, I'll add a link to my user page in Wikipedia where there is a list of the articles that I've worked on for anyone interested in looking at them. Living in Japan, I usually try to make a special effort to include Japan's side in articles or discussions about the war, because it seems that in the past this was somewhat neglected in western histories, for various reasons. I'm from the US originally, and have lived off-and-on in Japan for about eight years.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here and look forward to discussing World War II with the other participants here.

Re: Hello
Welcome to the Forum. And it'll be great to hear about the Pacific side of WW2 from the Japanese perspective. You're right, it is usually lacking in discussions and debates.

Re: Hello
The Wikipedia articles I mentioned before are listed here. As Wikipedia is a collaborative project, I was helped out by several others in building those articles. I appreciate the warm welcome from everyone.

Re: Hello
Welcome. It's always nice to say hello to knowledgeable people. I( admit, the PTO is not my strong point, so I'm anxious to read more.
