I am glad I found this forum. I think WWII is the most interesting thing ever!

Hello King, and welcome to this fine place. I am sure you will enjoy your time here. That said, I do have to agree with Erich that your reference to WWII being "the greatest thing ever" may be a questionable choice of words. You may find WWII interesting, as we all do, but there are few who would suggest that the War itself, which resulted in 60MM deaths, was in and of itself, a great thing. It was a terrible series of events, from which much can be learned, but it was not good or great in any way.

Welcome, glad to have you on the forum! I absolutely agree with dgmitchell. The casualties were through the roof! The number of deaths was unimaginable, I know this because my great-great grandfather was one of them...
