Question Greetings from Belgium - the Ardennes

Hello,

As a new member on this forum, a few words to introduce myself. I live in a city called Ghent, somewhere between Brussels and Bruges. One of my favourite interests, is the study of the famous Battle of the Bulge, wich took place during the winter of 1944-1945.

On a regular base, I'm searching the internet to find new postcards, pictures and photos concerning this battle, and to see how monuments can change during a lifetime. I hope I can find here some persones with similar interests and maybe one day to visit together some battlefields in the Ardennes.

Have a nice day...

Cool Re: Greetings from Belgium - the Ardennes

Hello Jagdpanther44,

Indeed, very nice pictures from our Ardens. We are lucky living so close to this part of Belgium. If I could help you somehow to get pictures from any part overthere, just let me know. We go on a regular base to Bastogne an its surroundings, so you only have to ask for it...
Have a nice weekend;

Hi there, I can see you're from belgium as wel. I can speak Flemisj with you, but would consider that disrespectful towards the international chatters... I am from brugge, the name is Peter... I have only recently started to treasurehunt, and would love to hunt around Bastogne... I hear it is off limits now for metaldetecting??
What are your experiences with metaldetecting in the Ardennes? tx
