Hi from Aussie
Hi all
Just a quick note to introduce myself, been into the whole military scene for so long now, I can't remember when it started, oh yeah just after my all expenses paid trip to South East Asia in 1969.
Seriously I collect WW 2 German Ammunition and Waffen SS. After reading some of the posts, I am looking forward to joining the discussion.
I am about to undertake a massive undertaking, the restoration of a German Tiger 1 tank, bloody expensive? yes!!!
Been a grunt in V/N, and Gunner later in life.
So hi, glad to meet you
Iain

Re: Hi from Aussie
Welcome, Iain! This is a fine place and I am sure you will enjoy your time here. I am also certain that many here will be eager to follow your restoration of a Tiger! I echo the earlier sentiment . . . . how did you get a Tiger!???? However that may have come to pass, we have a vehicle restoration section in the forum and I hope that you will post many photos of your project from start to finish!
Cheers!

Re: Hi from Aussie
I'll echo David. How on earth does one acquire a Tiger? Make sure you post pictures as you progress. There are plenty around who will want to see the effort. Good luck.
