Stay behind cave [this top secret operation until recently denied by the war office was to leave behind in a ;cave concealled from the exterior six highly trained officers ; we are talking about gibraltar ; to spy or gather info incase gibrlaltar was invaded by the nazis in 1940. more info if intrested

Please feel free to share more info about this interesting topic. I haven't read too much about a possible invasion of Gibraltar. I know Hitler tried to persuade Spain (invade) to atack this British possession.

gibraltar has a long history been a fortress within,with its many miles of tunneling inside imagine the movie guns of navarone but unpenetrable during ww2 /ps feel free to ask
