Call of Duty 4
I was just wondering, how much of your hard disk drive does this game take up?
i.e, how many MB?

Thanks. Looks like BF1942 is being uninstalled now then.

Re: Call of Duty 4
This is why I like systems, you dont have to worry about available memory or system requirements. are you planning on playing it online?

Re: Call of Duty 4
Systems have Hard Drives these days. You download content, put your music on, have several games, it starts to add up. This is where PS3 trumps XBOX 360....on a PS3 it is extremely easy to replace/add a new hard-drive to the system, extending its capacity. XBOX360 is a million times harder to do this too.

Luke, yes, once I beat singleplayer.
I gather by a system you mean a console?
If you do, well, I'm still in the PS2 age with those things...
Christ I still have a Nintendo 64!

Ah, yes, N64, the good ol' days...
Star Fox, Goldeneye, Mario, Smash Bros., and a few other were my favorites

Re: Call of Duty 4
Fancy some online play yet?
And yeah, that mission looked the most realistic out of all of them. Enemy moving out of that building, 4oclock. 'Roger'......BOOOOOOM!

Re: Call of Duty 4
I think the ending lets the game down though.
And also the nuke part.
In a good game, at least half your squad needs to survive!
And I think I'll give the online play a miss for now though, I got absolutely owned when I tried it.

Yeah, I was kinda bummed about the ending too.I cant decide who lived or no, because
(not wanting to give too much away to those who havent played it all the way through, STOP READING THIS NOW!!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!!)
it looked like Gaz and Griggs take head shots, but then the next board (plane) they're back. Suppose it doesnt matter, since COD is going to the Pacific next. Know what would be cool? A COD that took place in the Somme, or in korea.

Re: Call of Duty 4
Does the non-game of the year additions have the "Dont call me Shirly" epilouge mission? Because I have the game of the year and I hae it so if it does not and people do not have it I wont ruin it. Although I will say one thing, soap didn't die.

Ahh, but how do you know that it isn't a prequel mission?

Soap did die, just the epilogue has nothing to do with the rest of the story.
he was shot in the head with a Desert Eagle for Christ's sake!

Re: Call of Duty 4
Probably because of the Cold War era, and the fact that Russian Security isn't very good - all those ex-soviet-satellite-states with huge stockpiles of weapons and WMD...that sort of thing. I mean, Iraq had RUSSIAN Tanks and Firearms. Hmm...where could they have come from?
Not to mention, it wouldn't be feasible having a similar storyline set in Western Europe and theres really nothing of worth in Africa.

Iraq bought them... and I think Africa has many conflicts worth watching. Why not make a game where you are a mercenary and try to take hold of the diamond traffic?
Cheers...

Re: Call of Duty 4
COD is about major warfare, not Merc action. There are already Mercenary games like that. And MERCS dont try to control the diamonds, they get paid for 'defending' them.
