Being a Red Sox fan sometimes.

    Pity me.

Dunno, redcoat... I don't know who that team is (soccer?)... but I wonder if they can possibly be as good at "choking" as the Red Sox.

Leading 4-3 in the 9th inning... THE ONLY THING the closer (Kim) needs to do is get the 7,8,9 hitters (the weakest in the lineup) out.

    So what does he do?

Walk one guy, then hits the next guy.

    Sox lost after 12 innings.

Come on, don't we DESERVE a World Series at this point?!?!?!

Don't feel bad I've been a Cubs fan my whole life. Bases loaded no one out and everyone whiffs on the ball.

Of course anyone can have a bad century.

Ah Yes!! Although I don't know too much of the history (baseball fan only really for 3 years now)... Cubs fans and Red Sox fans can certainly sympathize!!

Damn... wouldn't a Cubs/Sox World Series be absolutley unbelievable?!?!

Well... at least in 99 we were down 2-0, and came back and won the series.

    Please??

No Pitty Here Crazy D....lol I'm a HUGE Yankees Fan. HUGE!,...when they ended up losing the first game of the series I was like  but now that they won the second, I'm a little better :D

I don't know if they have what it takes to win the world series this year, they havn't been playing as well as they used to, but c'mon, they HAVE to make it past the first round.

Lol... yeah, I figured someone in here would be a Yankees fan.

Well... I'm NOT one of those "Yankess Suck" Boston fans. Respect a good team, although their payroll is rather ridiculous.

But- Just wondering... when was the last time a NY Football team won the Superbowl?

    :D ;) :D

Honestly, I don't agree with the payroll either...but I'm a big Bernie Williams fan, and he just so happens to be playing for the yankees LOL.

I couldn't care less about American (or Canadian) football. Gimme soccer anyday and I'd be one happy gal. BTW...the Canadian Womens team has made it into the semi-finals of the womens world cup for the first time in almost 15 years. WOOOOOOOOOOO YEAH!....and Inter is doing well also, things couldn't get much better!

We can't hate being Red Sox and Cubs fans for one more year. Up 3-1 and blow it. Sheesh.

so I hear...but was the game worth watching (aka suspense, edge-of-your-seat action) or was it just plain ol' yankees getting their butts whipped...
